She tasted success for the first time with N.Chandra’s Tezaab (1988) in which she shared the screen with Anil Kapoor. Also, Bollywood got its superhit on-screen Jodi.

After then, Madhuri and Anil became very good friends and it is also being said that Anil Kapoor was very possessive and protective of Madhuri.

During this period, Madhuri got an offer to work with the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan but she refused it as Anil Kapoor didn’t want her to work with Big B, RVCJ reports claimed.

After that, Madhuri also stopped working with Anil Kapoor and it was 2019 when both Anil and Madhuri appeared in “Total Dhamaal” after a very long gap.
