Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani narrated the controversial life of Sanjay Dutt in his latest released film Sanju. Superstar Ranbir Kapoor managed to attract the audience through his performance and fans have already told that it is Ranbir Kapoor's best film ever.

The film is even doing quite well at the box office and it crossed 200 crores mark at the box office in the first week. The film is on its successful run and it will soon enter 300 crores club. Earlier there were the reports that Sanjay Dutt has not charged any amount for Sanju but now it has come out that what Sanjay Dutt actually has charged for the film.

India Today quoted a close source to the makers, "Sanju didn't come for free. Sanjay's team negotiated hard. They finally settled for an outright nine to 10 crore, plus a portion of the box office profit. Only then, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani were given access to the actor's life,"

Since the film, Sanju has released the media is continuously criticizing the film as the makers have targetted media for showing the bad image of Sanjay Dutt. Actors like Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma played leading roles in this film of Rajkumar Hirani.
