Wasn't puzzled as 'Puzzle' fit the bill perfectly: Irrfan Khan
After 'Hindi Medium' it is time for Irrfan Khan to go 'English Medium'.
Yes, you heard that right. The 'Piku' actor has inked one more Hollywood project 'Puzzle'. The 50-year-old actor, who was in the national capital to promote his upcoming flick Hindi Medium, shared that he will be flying soon to New York to shoot the film.
While talking exclusively to ANI, the excited 'Inferno' actor said that it is with Kelly Macdonald and has very interesting storyline. He added that he was looking for this right kind of script from a long time.
This project is something which he is really looking forward to and his role in the film is very different from what he was doing before.
Oren Moverman and Annie Baker have written the script, which is an adaptation of the 2010 Argentine film 'Rompecabezas'.
The original was directed by Natalia Smirnoff and was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
This will be Irrfan's fourth major Hollywood project. His past credits include ' Inferno' with Tom Hanks, 'Jurassic World' with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and Ang Lee's 'Life of Pi'.
The shooting of the movie will start later this month in New York.
