Vicky Kushal to train with Aamir Khan's fitness trainer for his next film Uri
Vicky Kaushal had been confirmed as the lead in the film Uri, which is real life story based on the surgical strike by the Indian army. Vicky will play an army officer in the movie and has already started preparing for his role by taking extensive training for the same.
For his fitness training, he will be trained by a professional trainer Rakesh Udiyar, who was also the trainer for Aamir Khan. Rakesh will train Vicky for his role as an army officer in which the actor needs to build his body in a particular way and hence the trainer will be planning his diet and workout regime accordingly.
Vicky says,” In Uri as I am supposed to play the Major who led the surgical strike operational, I have to be extremely fit for the part physically and also look a certain way in terms of my physique. So I’m training wit. Rakesh is extremely knowledgeable person when it comes to fitness. He is helping me with fitness regime workout and diet part of it and helping me gain lean muscle weight of about 10-12 kgs which is required for the part and also building my strength.”
Vicky will be shooting for the film early next year. The film is being directed by Aditya Dhar and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala's production arm, RSVP. Apart from this film, Vicky has three releases next year - Love Per Square Foot with Angira Dhar, Sanjay Dutt biopic by Rajkumar Hirani and Raazi by Meghna Gulzar with Alia Bhatt.
