Veere Di Wedding gets 'A' certificate; Swara Bhaskar slams CBFC says, 'Why no one ask Anurag Kashyap for having abuse in his films'

The film Veere Di Wedding is in the discussions for many reasons as this is the first film that will show the struggle and fun of modern girls of this time. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania are playing leading roles. Due to bold dialogues, Censor Board gave its 'A' certificate because the film contains some bold elements.

In a recent interview, Sonam Kapoor said, 'I don't think it will ever ask men why you drink, smoke and abuse or sexually active.' Whether Swara Bhaskar said we never said Veere Di Wedding is a feminist film. It is a story of four girls who hail from upper-class families and in this film, we have tried to narrate the struggle and lifestyle. Some of us who comes from that background do smoke, abuse and drink. Sonam even said that some of us are also sexually active.
