Last years was really turned out well and especially the start of the year 2019, that gave him the biggest success of his career, Uri - The Surgical Strike. Vicky Kaushal is just winnings hearts through his performances in the films like Raazi, Lust Stories, Sanju, Love Per Square Feet, Manmarziyaan and now Uri - The Surgical Strike.
However, it was never been easy for Vicky Kaushal as he has seen several rejections before getting big projects. Actually, now we can say Vicky Kaushal is a successful star he recalls those memories when he really felt disappointed and got rejected for many roles. Vicky recently revealed that he was rejected for a small role in Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013).
Vicky Kaushal said, "My first one was horrifying. It was for a small role in a big film and I realised how far from everything I was. On my way home, I was like 'Vicky, ab toh tune job letter bhi phaad diya!' I was afraid, but I literally couldn't give up,"

In one of the recent interviews, Vicky Kaushal also told that he has done engineering and he got a job offer from and cushy IT company, but he never wanted to do that so he dropped the offer. Eventually, his struggle has been paid off when he got noticed for his performance in Neeraj Ghaywan's Masaan. However, his first screen appearance was in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana when he played the young role of leading actor Kunal Kapoor.
