Teachers Day: Top 5 Bollywood films that portrayed best teacher-student relationship

On 5th September, the whole nation is celebrating the Teachers Day and many are giving tribute to their teachers. The Hindi cinema has always been inspiring for the students and many times the films have portrayed an emotional and connecting relationship between the students and the teachers.

Here is a list of top 5 Bollywood films which have set the example of best teachers.

1. Taare Zameen Par (2007)

Taare Zameen Par was a story based on an eight years old boy Ishaan, a dyslexic child, who is very frustrated with his school and education. In that phase of his life, he found a teacher-cum-friend Aamir Khan who played the role of his art teacher. Aamir goes beyond the limit and groom Ishan in the most creative way.

2. Chak De India (2007)

Although it was not a proper teacher student relation based story, but it was a good example of a mentor or coach who trained his team of Indian national women hockey. The coach understood his team and brought the best of each player out. He made them able to win the world cup. Shah Rukh Khan played the coach in this film.

3. Black (2005)

This film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali tells a story of a teacher who helps her deaf and blind student. Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji played the beautiful role of teacher and student in that film.

4. Iqbal (2005)

This film is also the best example of the relation between a teacher and student when a teacher helps his student for his career. Iqbal (Shreyas Talpade) who is deaf and mute aims to be an international cricketer seeks help from a retired and loser cricket Mohit (Naseeruddin Shah).

5. 3 Idiots (2009)

Although this film has not such big example of a great teacher, it itself an example of teaching. In many scenes of the film, you will get to know what is important in your education life as like do what you want to do and many other formulas of Aamir Khan.
