Sushant Death Case Update: From Jaya Bachchan's explosive speech to NCB arresting 2 more drug peddlers; timeline of event

On 25th Day (15 September) of investigation, NCB is busy hunting drug peddlers in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Yesterday, they arrested two more peddlers who use to supply drugs to Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and Samuel Miranda. Whereas on the other hand, CBI is interrogating late actor’s accountant Rajat Mewati regarding his transactions.

Talking about Jaya Bachchan, yesterday, she gave Zero hour notice in Rajya Sabha where she slammed BJP MP Ravi Kisan for tarnishing the image of the film industry after the latter raised the issue of the use of drugs in the film industry.

10:01 am:- Showik’s friend Suryadeep Malhotra arrested by NCB officials. As per reports, he was in purchasing and supplying drugs.

10:02 am:- SSR’s accountant Rajat Mewati reaches DRDO guesthouse for interrogation. Earlier, he was questioned for nearly 9 hours.

10:45 am:- Jaya Bachchan supports the entertainment industry and urges the government to stand by it. She further added that the film industry has been giving direct and indirect employment to more than 5 million people and a few of the highest taxpayers in the country.

10:57 am:- Drug peddler Chris Costa who was arrested by Gia police has been brought to Mumbai.

12:08 pm:- As per reports, NCB asked Rhea more than 55 questions about drugs. They also asked her about SSR’s staff, her connection with them, about her brother Showik and his personal life.

1:55 pm:- NCB seizes drug peddler Karamjeet’s luxury car

2:48 pm:- HDFC employees leave from DRDO guesthouse after 3 hours of questioning. They reached the DRDO guesthouse with certain documents.

3:06 pm:- Special NDPS court sends Chris Costa to NCB custody till 17th September

Meanwhile, today NCB is going to interrogate Shruti Modi and Jaya Shah in connection with Sushant death case and drug case.
