Shocking! Salman Khan outs Boney Kapoor from Wanted franchise all because of Arjun Kapoor
Salman Khan and Prabhu Deva are collaborating once again after Dabangg 2, for the sequel of their 2009 released hit film Wanted. However, interestingly, producer Boney Kapoor will not be a part of the franchise. Salman Khan has decided to take forward the Wanted franchise with his production house.
According to the sources, Salman Khan is maintaining the distance with Boney Kapoor for a personal reason. For those who are not aware, Boney Kapoor's son Arjun Kapoor is in relationship with Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan's ex-wife Malaika Arora. Although, Salman Khan is keen to do the Wanted sequel and Prabhu Deva is also planning the film for Eid 2020. So, the film sequel of Wanted will be made under Salman Khan's production house Salman Khan Films.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source saying, “Salman and Prabhu Dheva are doing a Wanted sequel. They won’t take Boney Kapoor’s consent. But, they will do the sequel anyway.”
Whereas Boney Kapoor also has no problem with Salman Khan taking forward the franchise and he is happy to give the rights of the film to Salman Khan. “He isn’t the kind to hold grudges or someone who would do anything out of spite. All Salman had to do was ask Boney and Wanted would have been given to Salman. Doing it without consent is not proper. But Boney is not taking any legal action,” sourced ended up saying.
Noticeably, Salman Khan and Boney Kapoor had a very strong relationship and they both had worked in many memorable films. But after Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora incident, both have decided to maintain the distance.
