Shocking! Gully Boy faces a major cut; CBFC denies a passionate kiss between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt
It looks like that CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) is no mood to allow Gully Boy without an objection. Just a two days before the release of Gully Boy, the film that is slated to release on Valentine's Day has gone through a major cut. Actually, the censor board has not allowed an important scene in the film.
According to a report of Bollywood Hungama, the 13 seconds kissing scene in between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have been cut at the last moment. This really has broken the heart of actors and their fans. This is the first time when the leading actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh have shared the screen in any film.

Not just the kissing scene but also the popular brand's name has been removed from the film. There was a scene that was showing a whiskey brand but the CBFC has clearly denied showing the brand on screen despite that it was one of the partners of the film.
Although, it is also being said that the Censor Board has asked the makers to beep the abuse in the songs and dialogues of the film. Well, whatever it is it will be hurtful for director Zoya Akhtar and will release on 14th February 2019.
