Sanjay has opted out of the third part of the franchise

Sanjay Dutt recently wrapped up his comeback film Bhoomi. The actor has decided to pull out of Indra Kumar’s Dhamaal franchise. He played a cop in Dhamaal (2007) and Double Dhamaal (2011). The third installment, Total Dhamaal, was expected to roll out this year, but the fact that Dutt is unavailable has caused the film some delay.

A source says, “Dutt has a busy schedule and he was not okay with the film's adult comedy. He doesn’t want his children to see him in a film that has adult jokes or crass humour.”

Dutt’s co-star Riteish Deshmukh has backed out of the film as well.

Meanwhile, there is a buzz that Sanjay Dutt’s has also bonded well with his Bhoomi co-star Aditi Rao Hydari. The actors play father and daughter on the screen and have become close friends. Dutt is said to be recommending her name to some of his director and producer friends. Due to this, she apparently bagged another project which is directed by Dutt’s friend.

Apart from Bhoomi, Dutt will be seen in Torbaaz, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and also another collaborative project with Ajay Devgn.
