Saif Ali Khan's co-star R Madhavan replaces him in Bunty Aur Babli 2.0
A few months ago we reported that Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji starrer Bunty Aur Babli is going to have a sequel. However, the original director Shaad Ali is keen to part of the project, then it was also told that Abhishek Bachchan also denied being a part of the project. Then the team approached Saif Ali Khan for the part but he also walked out of the film after a few discussions.
However, now the team of YRF has got a name that will replace Saif Ali Khan in the part in Bunty Aur Babli 2.0. According to Bollywood Hungama, actor R Madhavan has signed to play the role that Saif denied to play. Interestingly, he will star opposite Rani Mukerji. The film already has Siddhant Chaturvedi, the fame of Gully Boy to play a leading role in the film.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a close source, “After Saif informed the makers that he wanted to step out of Bunty Aur Babli 2.0, they were on lookout for a suitable actor, and Madhavan fit the bill perfectly. He loved the script, and came on board immediately. The film went on floors last week,”
The film will be directed by Varun V Sharma, who was assistant director of Ali Abbas Zafar in Sultan starring Salman Khan and Shaadi Ali in Ranveer Singh starrer Kill Dil. He also wrote Salman Khan's last released superhit film Bharat.
