Rhea Chakraborty on Tuesday was taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drug abuse angle linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

The actor reached the NCB office for the third round of questioning in the drug-related probe connected to Sushant Rajput's death case. Rhea was escorted from her home in Juhu to the NCB office by a police vehicle after she was mobbed by mediapersons on Sunday.
Previously, Rhea Chakraborty was questioned by the NCB for about 8 hours on Monday and six hours on Sunday. The NCB earlier stated that it was getting "her cooperation" in the drugs case probe connected to case of death of Sushant, who was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14.
The probe agency, in recent days, arrested Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda and his staff Dipesh Sawant in this case. Others who have been taken into custody are Zaid Vilatra, Kaizan Ebrahim, Abdel Basit Parihar, Karan Arora, and Abbas Lakhani.
On Monday, Mutha Ashok Jain, NCB deputy director general stated that the probe agency was carrying out a “professionally thorough and systematic job" and that it will inform the court about its “findings in detail".
The NCB initiated its probe after WhatsApp chats in regards to drug consumption, procurement, usage and transportation in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case came to light.
