Ranveer Singh returns as Jayeshbhai Jordaar to his camp Yash Raj Films after Befikre
Ranveer Singh no doubt on his success run and his back to back three successful films Padmaavat, Simmba and Gully Boy are the proof of it. Well, before his back to back three blockbuster films, Ranveer Singh also gave his career's disastrous film Befikre, directed by Aditya Chopra. Now once again Ranveer Singh is back to his camp Yash Raj Films from where his journey of acting started.
Yash Raj Films has tweeted, Ranveer Singh to star in their next film Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the movie will be directed by newbie director Divyang Thakkar. While talking about the film, Ranveer Singh told DNA, “I’ve been immensely fortunate to have collaborated with some of the finest filmmakers in our country. It is gratifying that they believed in my craft and chose me to lead their cinematic vision. All that I have achieved as an actor today is due to these titanic forces showing their faith in me. I’m glad that today I find myself in a position where I can recognise exceptional talent and wholeheartedly back the vision of a brilliant new writer-director like Divyang. Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be my next release after ’83.”
“Jayeshbhai is a film with a big heart. In its concept and appeal, it encompasses the broadest spectrum of the cinema-loving audience — it’s a movie for everyone! It is, in fact, a ‘miracle script’ that YRF found for me out of nowhere. The sheer brilliance of the writing compelled me to immediately green-light this project. Both humourous and poignant, Jayeshbhai is right up there with the most solid on-paper material I’ve come across,” he added in the interview.
Meanwhile, with this Ranveer Singh made it clear that his film with Karan Johar, Takht has now been pushed. Now Takht will release after Jayeshbhai Jordaar, earlier there were the reports that Ranveer will start Takht after completing 83, but now he has made it clear that he will be seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar first, then he will be a part of Karan Johar's Takht.
