Ranu Mondal New Song Out! Himesh Reshammiya recreates 36 China Town's superhit song with Internet sensation

Bollywood singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya who has changed the life of Ranu Mondal by giving her breakthrough Teri Meri Kahaani song, once again the duo is back! This time Himesh has recreated his own song from 2006 hit film China Town starrer Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna and Upen Patel.

This time, Ranu Mondal has joined Himesh to sing a hit song Ashiqui Meri Teri. The 2.0 version of Ashiqui Mein Teri is from the film Hardy and Heer. The singer-composer took to Instagram and called the song his ‘personal favourite’ after Teri Meri.

Himesh shared a song along with a caption, “Ashiqui Mein Teri 2.0 from Happy Hardy And Heer is out. It is another personal favourite of mine after Teri Meri Kahani. Happy Hardy and Heer releases on 3rd Jan 2020 all over, love you all. Thanks for all the support.”

While talking about Ashiqui Mein Teri 2.0, Himesh told IANS, “I enjoyed every moment recreating my own chartbuster track which I had composed for the Shahid Kapoor-starrer 36 China Town, a decade back. Although Ashiqui Mein Teri 2.0 is a sure shot party anthem, there is a lot of depth and a very soulful melody attached to the song which has helped making the love story of Happy Hardy and Heer timeless.”

The film is directed by Rak and will hit the silver screen on January 3, 2020.

Notably, this is the second song of Ranu with Himesh and she became an Internet sensation overnight after her video singing Lata Mangeshkar's evergreen number Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai on a railway platform went viral on the Internet.
