Post Simmba and Gully Boy success, Ranveer Singh to do something for '83' and 'Takht', that mostly Khans do
It looks like that Ranveer Singh is on the could nine with his success of recent films Gully Boy, Simmba, and Padmaavat. Now the actor is even happily married to Deepika Padukone, who is also top on her game. Ranveer Singh has given three back to back blockbuster films and even the filmmakers have got to know about his stardom and popularity.
The intersting thing is that now the actor also getting offers from filmmakers for profit share aside his huge fees. Ranveer Singh will be seen in two films next year Takht directed by Karan Johar and 83 directed by Kabir Khan. It has been told that both the filmmakers have offered him a deal of profit share with him after acknowledging his superstardom.
Ranveer Singh's last three films have really performed well and even his last released film Gully Boy has entered 100 crore club. Even his last two films Simmba and Padmaavat even entered 200 and 300 crore clubs respectively.
Bollywood Hungama qouted a source, “Post Padmaavat, which saw his performance propel the film to shatter several box office records, Ranveer’s equity has seen a meteoric rise. A first choice of producers and directors, Ranveer now has a substantial pie of the profits and filmmakers are sweetening the deal for him by offering him a big margin.”
“Ranveer’s on top form with back to back blockbusters and from Simmba he has been getting a major percentage of profit share. Kabir Khan’s 83 has a big profit percentage carved out for Ranveer. In fact, for all films going forward, Ranveer will have profit share chalked out for him.” the source added.
Ranveer Singh is currently preparing for his role of Kapil Dev in the biopic 83. He is taking coaching from cricketer experts and also spending time with Kapil Dev.
