PadMan Box Office Collection Day 3: Akshay Kumar's film with R Balki and Sonam Kapoor is a hit in just opening weekend
The Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's film PadMan is been successful to collect more than 35 crores from the box office in the opening weekend. The film collected 10.26 crores on its opening day Friday, then on Saturday, the film collected 13.68 crores. Now according to the early reports, the film has already crossed 40 crores mark at the box office in its opening weekend.
According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected 16.11 crores at the box office on Sunday, With this the total collection of the film is now 40.05 crores.
The film has seen a growth on Sunday at the box office while competing with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor starrer film Padmaavat. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial film was released two weeks earlier then PadMan but still the film is a tough competition for Akshay Kumar's film.

In this film, Akshay Kumar is playing leading role and Radhika Apte will be seen playing his wife in the film. While Sonam Kapoor's character enters in the second half of the film and her character is of MBA student. The R Balki directorial film has only 2750 screens in India while it has got 600 screens in the overseas market.

The film is based on the real-life story of Arunachal Muruganathan and according to Arunachal, the film was a like life experience for him. He felt that he is seeing his struggle and how he succeeded in the life. He is happy that the film is showing his life very beautifully on silver screen.
