Bollywood's Barfi actor Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most loved actors of the industry. He is in news one day or the other for his films, father, relationships and what not but this time there is a bad news for his fans.
The actor along with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone were aligned by Manish Malhotra to walk for his fashion show titled as Mijwan 2018 on 9 April, 2018 but the event has got postponed for a week since both the actors have fallen ill.
Now, as per the latest reports by Bollywoodlife.com, the doctors have announced Brahmastra actor down with Typhoid and have advised him bed rest until ge gets recovered. Not only this, he has also been asked to reduce his workout sessions and do not do any kind of physical exercise.
An official statement about the fashion show's cancellation was given out that read as,”We regret to inform you that the Mijwan Fashion Show scheduled in Mumbai at the Grand Hyatt on 9th April 2018 has been postponed by a week or so. Both our show stoppers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have taken ill and we are waiting for them to recover. We will inform you as soon as a new date is finalised. Apologies for the inconvenience caused and hope you will bear with us.''
When Ranbir was asked about walking the runway for Manish, he had earlier said that the youngsters of the country need to focus more on rural India and empowerment of the girl child. Talking further about the same, the actor said, We, the young people of India, need to turn our attention towards rural India and focus on empowering the girl child. My sister Riddhima and I were raised as equals and I want every girl and boy to be treated equally. To my young friends, I say “Be the Change you wish to see in the world. You can do it and your time starts now."

Talking about work front, the actor will next be seen in Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy alongside. He is also working on Sanjay Dutt's biopic in which he will be playing the lead role and the title of which is yet to get finalized. As per the latest reports, the tentative title has been decided as 'Sanju' and Ranbir has said that the movie will hit the theatres in June 29, 2018.
