Netizens slam Kangana Ranaut for removing Sonu Sood from her film; call her ‘hypocrite queen'
Amid outsider vs insider debate in Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has been receiving a lot of support on social media for her fearless interview to a news portal.
In her interview with Republic TV, the Queen actress has targeted many Bollywood celebs for spreading nepotism and groupism in the film industry. But many people couldn’t digest her interview easily and instead, slammed her for what she did with actor Sonu Sood.
Amid nepotism debate, another controversy sparked after Sonu Sood’s talking about his role in Manikarnika film directed by Kangana, in an old interview, has surfaced the Internet.
The video was posted by Sushil K Kashyap along with a caption: “Why is #Kangana so agitated. Khud pe aati hai toh she becomes someone else. Forgot @sonusood? She removed her from Manikarnika and also insulted the director. This video is the proof.” [sic].
After this video went viral on social media, netizens have started questioning Kangana on why she removed Sonu Sood from her period film, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’.
Initially, Sonu was a part of the historic saga and had performed various stunts in the film.
Reportedly, he had shot scenes for about 45 days before he showed the gate and got replaced by someone else.
However, Kangana had said in many interviews that Sonu was not happy about the fact that he was working under a female director.
She also alleged that the Simmba actor also tried to defame her as he was no longer the part of the film.
On the side, Sonu claimed that he never had any demur while working under a female director as he already had worked under another female director, Farah Khan in Happy New Year. However, he added that he only said that he cannot be working with two directors on one set, TOI reported.
Meanwhile, netizens have started trolling Kangana for what she had done with Sonu Sood and also even called her hypocrite.
‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ was the directorial debut of Kangana Ranaut. She also played the lead role in the film. Manikarnika was released on January 25, 2019.
