Neetu Chandra reveals she was offered Rs 25 lakh to become businessman's salaried wife
Oye Lucky Lucky Oye fame Neetu Chandra joined the film industry and made her mark in the industry with her debut in Garam Masala in 2005. The actress is extraordinarily talented and makes sure to give her own views and take a stand against every misdeed in the industry.
Not long ago, while speaking to a publication, Neetu opened up anout how she was not being given lead roles despite working on several films with stunning actors and crew members. Neetu told Bollywood Hungama, “Having worked with 13 National award winners and in such big films, today I have no work.”
The actress couldn’t hold back her tears as she revealed, “I was told by a big businessman that he will give me ₹25 lakh per month and that I have to become his salaried wife. I neither have money nor work. I've become worried, I feel unwanted here after doing so much work."
Furthermore, the actress became emotional while she was talking about her journey and recalling one of the episode from her career, Neetu said that a big casting director from Bollywood once turned her down after taking her auditions, she said, “Ek casting director, kaafi bada naam hai but main naam nahi bolna chahrahi hun, audition ke time pe hi matlab, ek ghante ke andar usne bola, I am sorry Neetu, this is not working out.”
“You literally auditioned me to reject me so that you can kill my confidence,” Neetu added.
However, during the course of time, Neetu proved her acting skills by working in a numbet of films which include Traffic Signal, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Apartment and among others. She entered the entertainment industry in 2005 and after few years Neetu won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film - Oye Lucky Lucky Oye.
