Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is hitting the headlines for his personal life has turned a year older today, 19th May. Making big in Bollywood without any godfather the actor has come a long way to be a successful and most adored actor in Industry. Before making big Anurag Kashyap’s film, Nawaz appeared in Vidya Balan’s hit film Kahaani wherein he essayed the role of archetypal short-tempered intelligence officer A. Khan.

Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1-2 (2012)
In this film, Nawaz essayed the lead role Faizal Khan who is out to seek revenge for his father and brother’s death. In the film, he is one of the biggest gangster and with his acting skills and dialogue delivery he won millions of heart.
Talaash: The Answer Lies Within (2012)
Starring Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji, in this film Nawaz essayed a side role however one of the important characters of the film Taimur. For this film, he even won the award for Best Supporting Actor in Asian Film Award.
The Lunchbox (2013)
Before appearing on the silver screen with another bang Nawaz did two films that went to the Cannes Film Festival and Granada Film Festival. In The Lunchbox, he essayed the role of Shaikh which made him won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Badlapur (2014)
Starring Varun Dhawan and Yami Gautam, the film received immense applaud from the audience. However, the audience was quite shocked with the acting skills of Varun as for the first time he portrayed the dark side. Well, not to miss Nawaz, fans went berserk after watching this film and knew every dialogue of Nawaz by heart.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015)
Starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, in this film Nawaz, essayed the role of a protagonist named Chand Nawab. He was one of the essential characters in the film when Salman enters Pakistan. For this film, he received immense love and appreciation from the audience and with this film he shunned the antagonist image.
Well, the list of his films goes on, well not many know that when Sacred Games was released on Netflix the famous author Paulo Coelho took to his Twitter handle and recommended the web series. Not just this he also lauded Nawazuddin’s work calling it “one of the best series on Netflix with the great actor Nawazuddin.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will next be seen in the film titled Ghoomketu also starring Anurag Kashyap. The film is slated to release on a Zee5 on 22nd May.
