The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is also investigating the matter. It has summoned Chakraborty’s father for second round of questioning on Wednesday. Previously, the CBI had interrogated Rhea’s parents for the first time in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on Tuesday.
Indrajeet Chakraborty and mother Sandhya arrived at the DRDO guest house where the CBI probe team is staying, around 11 am and left in the evening after nearly eight hours of questioning. The central probe agency continued the interrogation of her brother Showik, who was summoned for questioning for the first time last week.
Rhea and her family are out of those named in the FIR lodged by the Patna Police following a complaint from late actor’s family who has accused her of abetting his suicide and misappropriating the money. Rhea has been questioned for approximately 35 hours by the probe agency in the last four days.
