Munna Michael postponed; Spiderman gets a solo release in July

Major portions of Munna Michael starring Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have already been shot, but if sources are to be believed the film has hit a road block.

A source reveals that lack of funds in Eros International is one of the reasons for the halt and the film might not release on July 7 as scheduled. There is a bit of tension going on at the studio currently due to financial crises and all the productions as of today have been put on hold.

Another source close to the production house confirmed that the film has been pushed but revealed that the reason is not the financial crisis as the shooting is well on track. Around 10 days shoot is still pending and that will commence in mid-April.

Eros International is looking for a clean window to release the film and July is crumpled with multiple releases that includes Jagga Jasoos (July 14), Mubarakan (July 28) and Spiderman: Homecoming (July 7) which would not give Munna Michael a breathing space.

The makers are now eyeing to release the film in August, and the official announcement is expected to be made soon. The delay in release date has given Marvel’s Spiderman Homecoming a solo release on July 7.
