Mumbai: Massive fire breaks out at set of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Zero' in Film City, Goregaon; 5 fire tenders rush at the spot
A Massive fire breaks out at the set of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film 'Zero' in Goregaon Film City in Mumbai, news agency ANI reported quoting the Mumbai Police. Reports also suggest that Shah Rukh Khan was on set at the time when fire struck the Zero film set.
Around five fire tenders have reportedly been rushed to the set of Zero film to control the blaze.
However, the origin of the fire has not yet been ascertained, according to PTI. Eyewitnesses said smoke was seen emerging from one of the studios.
The fire was confined to electric wiring and installation, shooting material, ropes, and curtains, PTI reported.
Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer Zero also cast Abhay Deol, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Javed Jaffrey and R Madhavan. Late actress Sridevi and Bollywood's Bhaijan Salman Khan, Kajol, Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji have cameo appearances in the film.
The trailer of Zero released earlier this month on King Khan's birthday on 2nd November. The film is set to hit Silver screens on December 21.
