'Mills & Boon kind of lover' SRK feels 'women better'
'Mills & Boon kind of lover' SRK feels 'women better'
Have you ever tried to find out that particular reason for your attraction towards the Badshah of Bollywood?
Seems like Shah Rukh Khan himself has an answer for the same.
During a promotional spree for the upcoming film 'Jab Harry Met Sejal,' comparing himself with the 'Mills and Boons' kind of lovers, he said, "I don't know women better but I feel women better."
Reasoning it out, the 'Dilwale' actor told film critic Anupama Chopra in Film Companion, "This is because I have done really nice love stories. Even in 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,' it was from a woman's point of view. The women can relate to the love in my movies. Therefore, I have started feeling women better. I have become more gentlemanly but I don't know if I have become a better partner."
Adding, "I am a manly Mills & Boon kind of lover..a walking, talking Mills and Boon. I don't have a personal brand of love. I have said this before, I really don't have an idea of love. I could be a Devdas lover, I may have my mannerisms."
Labelling himself as the 'empty vessel,' SRK went on to say, "I understand love, I am like an empty vessel, which you can fill and I will take the shape of love. I have never been the same lover in my films, I have been the lover as my director sees fit. But I understand Imtiaz's lover better. I don't though; have a fixed concept of love."
His co-star Anushka also revealed her thoughts on the same, saying, "It is his dimples, his smile...It is our memories of seeing him fall in love and making others fall in love with him and thinking, 'I too want to fall in love like this.' And you want to see him again and again because when he falls in love, you too get that feeling. I think we want to relive our memories."
On the work front, Imtiaz Ali directed 'Jab Harry Met Sejal,' is all set to release on August 4.
This will be the third collaboration of the Badshah of Bollywood and Anushka. Earlier, they were seen together in 'Rab Ne Banadi Jodi' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan.'
Interestingly, they will also feature together in Aanand L Rai's next, which will also have Katrina Kaif alongside (Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio). SRK will play a dwarf in the yet to be titled flick.
