Lata Mangeshkar dies at 92: Unforgettable songs of India’s Nightingale

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away today at the age of 92. She took her last breathe in Mumbai, after a prolonged hospitalization.

She was admitted to a city hospital early on January 8 after she was diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia.

Though having recovered from COVID, the star was put on ventilator support after her condition worsened on Saturday.

Lata Mangeshkar is one of the legendary singers who has recorded songs in over a thousand Hindi films. The country cannot forget her melodious and captivating voice.
