20 years back producer Yash Johar's son Karan Johar made his directorial debut with the film called Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film not just turned out one of the biggest hit of 1998 but also one of the classic films of Bollywood. Karan Johar with his first film became the blockbuster director and it was Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's second milestone film after Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
While after 20 years when most of the people criticized the concept and storyline of the film for why SRK did not choose Kajol in the first half and what happened to him after when Kajol's character Anjali had a transformation from tom-boy look to tradition woman. However, even after a lot of criticism, the film is still something that became one of the most favourite love tale for a 90s generation.
The film released on 16th October 1998, and today the film completed 20 years to Indian cinema. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has his own journey that made the film most memorable. This film of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji surely redefined the love and friendship. Especially, the dialogue 'Pyaar Dosti Hai, Agar Woh Meri Sabse Achchi Dost Nahi Ban Sakti, Toh Mein Usse Kabhi Pyaar Kar Hi Nahi Sakta'.
This line, this dialogue even the whole concept of the film gave a new definition to love that even two best friends can fall in love. Even two companion who enjoys each other's company, who knows the ups and downs of each other can also become a life partner. In the film, we saw that how two best friends Rahul and Anjali became the best life partner because they felt that it is their company or their comfort that each other that turned friendship into love.
