Karan Johar's most anticipated project Shuddhi was in the discussions for a long time and it was supposed to make in 2013 but due to some constant issues, the film got postponed or shelved for a long time. However, now the reports are that Shuddhi has not shelved as the film is now coming with a new title.
Finally, Karan Johar has found a new way to make Shuddhi, well this is known that Karan Johar from the start wanted to cast Salman Khan in this project but due to many issues later Karan had to stop this project. Now once again Karan Johar is in the limelight for his upcoming project Rannbhoomi starring Varun Dhawan and going to direct by Shashank Khaitan.

Recently in an interview, Varun Dhawan said He is very excited for this project as till now the audience had seen him doing romance and comedy but now they will see him doing hardcore action sequences. Varun also told that he is a very close friend of director Shashank Khaitan and he had done two super hit films with him. Thier pair will surely have a strong connection on silver screen.

Now some reports suggest, that Karan Johar told Shashank Khaitan to re-write the script of Shuddhi in new age drama in 2015, later Shashank had come up with a new script called Rannbhoomi. However, that time first Karan allowed Badrinath Ki Dulhania to him and now Rannbhoomi.
