Kajol accepts sexual harassment as a reality in Bollywood; supports Tanushree Dutta on Nana Patekar controversy
The Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta is in the news these days and the reason is her allegations on the film industry and leading actor Nana Patekar for sexually harassing her. After that, the industry has divided into two parts one is in the support of Tanushree and another one is in the support of Nana Patekar.
Meanwhile, during the trailer launch event of the film Thugs Of Hindostan, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, the leading actors totally denied speaking over this issue. While on the other hand, actors like Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Swara Bhaskar, Richa Chadha, Sonam Kapoor and others have openly come out in the support of Tanushree Dutta.
These days Kajol is busy in the promotions of her upcoming movie Helicopter Eela discussed the issue and said, “What she speaks about is definitely the reality and I wouldn’t say it’s restricted to our industry. I think it’s pretty much a concern all over, whichever field we talk about.”
She further added, “If it had happened in front of me, I’m sure I would have stood up or done something about it.”
While on the other hand, Nana Patekar has sent a legal notice against Tanushree Dutta and now Nana alongside Ganesh Acharya, Vivek Agnihotri and others will hold a press conference against this whole issue.
