Kabir Singh actor Shahid Kapoor has a regret of doing this film, calls it a 'Crappy movie'
Actor Shahid Kapoor is currently on cloud nine with his recently released film Kabir Singh's success and the film is doing quite well at the box office as well. Shahid Kapoor had played the role of an alcoholic surgeon Kabir Singh, who is lost after losing his love of life Preeti (Kiara Advani). The film is although getting mixed reviews from critics but the audience is all awe of Shahid for his performance.
Many of his fans have also said that finally, Shahid Kapoor has got due after a long career. Shahid Kapoor has been working in the film industry from the last 15 years and this will be his biggest hit of career and expectations are that it will easily cross 100 crore mark. Recently, Shahid Kapoor in one of his recent interview told that he regrets of doing some crappy films in his career and especially one film that he wants to delete from his filmography.
When Kiara Advani, Shahid's co-star from Kabir Singh was asked about Shahid Kapoor's career trajectory, Kiara said: "I was not a fan of Shaandaar."
Even Shahid Kapoor agreed on it and said, "I would erase Shaandaar from my career trajectory if I could. No one from this generation of actors can claim that a bad film did well just because they were in it. I think I have a very loyal fan following. And I thank them every day of my life. I have done some really crappy films."
Let us tell you that after the success of Queen, director Vikas Bahl made a romantic film Shaandaar taking Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles. The film also had Shahid's father Pankaj Kapur and half-sister Sanah Kapur in the leading roles. Karan Johar produced this venture tanked at the box office and it was definitely a boring film.
