Hungama 2: Javed Jaffrey’s son Meezaan Jaffrey to star as lead in Priyadarshan’s next
The ultimate comedy film Hungama which made the viewers go ROFL in 2003 is coming back with its sequel. Earlier, the film starred Aftab Shivdasani and Akshaye Khanna as lead and for its sequel famous director, Priyadarshan has found Meezaan Jaffrey as a lead.
Meezaan made his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Malaal opposite Sharmin Segal in July this year. However, the film didn't perform well at the box office leaving his future in uncertainty. As per Bollywood Hungama, Priyadarshan confirmed the news by saying that Javed Jaffrey’s son Meezan is a terrific boy on-screen whether its in term of acting, dance or fighting. There is nothing that he cannot do.
Being Javed’s son we expect Meezaan to have great humour sense and hope that this beat proves out to be his best. Also, rumours are doing rounds that the handsome actor is dating Amitabh Bachchan’s grand-daughter Navya Naveli.
Talking about the film soon it is expected to go on the floor, as the work is going on in full swing. The director is busy auditioning for the female lead and other casts.
