Housefull 4 actor Akshay Kumar opens up on working with MeToo accused Sajid Khan

Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Bobby Deol starrer Housefull 4 trailer has dropped on the internet platform and it has received great response from the fans and audience. Interestingly, Housefull 4 was supposed to be directed by Sajid Khan and he even directed the half of it but the sexual harassment charges against him under MeToo movement made his exit from the film.

Then writer-director Farhad Samji took his chair and directed the remaining part of the film. During the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar and the team of Housefull 4 interacted with the media and had discussions over the film. Sajid Khan had directed two parts of Housefull franchise and it was shocking when he announced his exit from the film.

Akshay Kumar announced that he won't work with any MeToo accused and that made Sajid came out of the film. However, during the trailer launch of Housefull 4, when Akshay was asked about will he work with director Sajid Khan after MeToo allegations. He said, "I don't know exactly what has happened in his case but if everything goes well and if he is acquitted, I will surely work with him in the future,"

The reports were also that Sajid Khan had directed 60 per cent of the film, but in the trailer and posters, he has not been given the credits. To this Akshay replied, "It is true that he has directed 60 per cent of the film but this call has been taken by the studio (Fox Star)."

Housefull 4 also stars Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, and Pooja Hegde in the leading roles. While Chunky Panday will reprise his Aakhiri Pasta role. The film is scheduled to release on Diwali 2019.
