Malini became known as the Dream Girl of Bollywood after appearing in Pramod Chakravorty's directorial 'Dream Girl' in 1977.

The Dream Girl won numerous awards, including the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award and the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour.

“Dum par kabhi zor se jhatka diya hota… to dum to kya k-tti-a bhi seedhi ho jaati hai”

The savage dialogue was from 1972 film ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’. The movie featured Malini in double role.

“Chal Dhanno, aaj teri Basanti ki izzat ka sawaal hai”

And who can forget this dialogue from the evergreen blockbuster movie ‘Sholay’ which featured Hema Malini alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Amjad Khan, and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. She portrayed the role of Basanti – the character for which she will always be remembered.

“Dekho, mujhe befuzool baat karne ki aadat to hai nahi”

This famous dialogue is also from ‘Sholay’ movie.

“Madira ki dukaan mein gangajal ko bhi log sharab hi samajh lete hai”

The popular dialogue is from 1977 movie ‘Dhoop Chhaon’. Helmed by Nitin Bose, the movie starred Sanjeev Kapoor, Yogita Bali, and Om Shivpuri in pivotal roles.

The dialogue is from 1990's romantic movie 'Jamai Raja'. The movie starred Hema alongside Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles.
