Dimple girl of Bollywood, Preity Zinta is famous for her acting skills. The most bubbly girl of Bollywood Preity even has played much serious performance in her film career. She has done several women-oriented films, Preity who started her career through modelling has done films in many languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, and even in English.
In Bollywood, she had worked in films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Sangharsh, Mission Kashmir, and others. The leading lady is celebrating her 43rd birthday today as she was born on 31st January 1975 in Shimla. Preity Zinta was born in an army family and she has two brothers Deepankar and Maneesh.
Her father died in a car accident and that time Preity was just 13 years old. Preity started her career in modelling and she was seen in commercials of Perk Chocolate and others. Earlier Preity Zinta was supposed to make her debut in films with Shekhar Kapur's film Tara Rum Pum in 1997 but due to some issues, it didn't happen. She was signed opposite Hrithik in this film but the film got shelved.

Later she made her silver screen debut with Mani Ratnam's film Dil Se in 1998 and in this film, She was seen with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She even won Best Filmfare debut actress for this film. This is to notice that Preity Zinta's real name is Pritam Zinta but when she made debut in films she changed her name.

Preity Zinta is now married to Gene Goodenough and she is one of successful franchise owner of Kings XI Punjab in IPL.
