So, somehow the first half of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was inspired from Karan Johar's own life.
In Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ranbir Kapoor was in the one side love for Anushka Sharma, but Anushka Sharma was in love for Fawad Khan and she even got married to him in the film.
