- Wednesday: Rs 6.00 crore (Paid Previews)
- Thursday: Rs 9.50 crore

The film is the fourth biggest Hollywood opener of all time in India and the collections would have been higher had the makers opted for a traditional Indian film release on Friday. Fast and Furious will reap benefit of ‘Good Friday’ and is eyeing for opening weekend close in the Rs 40 crore range.
Back in 2015, Fast and Furious 7 became the first ever Hollywood film to collect over Rs 100 crore in India and it would be interesting to see if the eighth instalment manages to recreate the magic. The trend in weekend followed by the hold on Monday will give us a hint about the lifetime collections of the film.
