Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar mark hat-trick with 'Gully Boy'

After creating magic with films like 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do', the brother sister duo Farhan and Zoya Akhtar team up again for 'Gully Boy'.

The film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will have Farhan Akhtar not only as a co-producer but also will write dialogues for the coming of age story of street rappers.

The film maker duo Farhan and Zoya have earlier collaborated on films like ' Dil Chahta hai', ' Lakshya', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do' in different capacities, however 'Gully Boy' proves to be the third time that the pair is coming together as director - dialogue writer.

This time again, 'Gully Boy' will have Zoya Akhtar direct while Farhan Akhtar will be penning dialogues for the film.

The actor who wrote dialogues for films like 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and ' Dil Dhadakne Do' are still etched in the audience's memory for their quirk and wit even today.

In 'Gully Boy', it would be interesting to witness the power packed team of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt mouthing dialogues written by Farhan.

Co-produced by Zoya's recently-launched banner Tiger Baby and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment, ' Gully Boy' is expected to commence shooting in November 2017.
