Kareena Kapoor Khan recently spoke about her fitness and health pre and post-delivery of her baby, in a video chat.

When asked if her priorities have changed, post the child birth, she said, “That shift is very organic and it happens on its own. Earlier, it was just more about me and Saif but now everything is about three of us. But we are not feeling anything different because we were looking forward to this. We wanted a family and it’s amazing.”

When asked what advice she would give expecting women to make sure they get a healthy baby, she said tongue in cheek, “Eat lots of ghee and Pasta. Saif is cooking a lot these days. He has also been preparing for his role in Chef and I used to eat all that he cooked, during my pregnancy,” she said further.

Talking about her fitness post pregnancy, Kareena said she liked being active and even before thinking about starting a family 10 years she dedicated to living a healthy and fit life which also helped her to work throughout her pregnancy phase. “I started working out about 45-50 days post my pregnancy. Being active is good. It’s not like you are pregnant so you should not work. We Indians are like sleep, take rest, have a foot massage and even your meal come till your bed but I was never like that. I always wanted to be out and about all the time which is why going back to exercise was much easier for me,” she said.
