Brahmastra actress Mouni Roy wanted to become this before becoming an actress and you'll be surprised to know that!
Mouni Roy has been one of the popular faces of the Television world and now it seems she is ready to spread her magic on the Bollywood industry too. With three films in her kitty- Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, RAW Romeo Akbar Walter opposite John Abraham and opposite Nawazzudin Siddiqui in Bole Chudiyan, there's surely no looking back for her. And now she has opened up about her career in detail and revealed what she wanted to become before she became an actress.
Mouni, in an interview said that her main motto is to get surprised from her life and focus on the present without worrying about the future. She said, "So whenever an opportunity came my way, whethe’r it was an acting assignment, dance or singing, I just tried to focus on that." Her career has been quite amazing and encouraging. She first appeared on Ekta Kapoor's popular show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and later was seen in shows like Zara Nachke Dikha, Nach Baliye, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev.
She however, rose to fame through her character of Shivanya and Shivaangi which she played in Naagin and Naagin 2. Talking about her talents she said, "This is what I want to live for, forever... my dance, my acting are what I want to live for because I am the happiest when I am performing." Further she also opened up about what she wanted to become in the beginning of her career.

Talking about it she said, "Initially, I wanted to become an IAS officer but no... it is great that at a very young age, I found my calling and carved my path." She said that her character in TV shows were different from that she will be playing in her movies. She said, "Yes, of course, they can see my acting skills in the work that I have done on television, but the characters I am playing are very different from say a Shivangi in 'Naagin' or a Sati in '...Mahadev'."
