Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor tests positive for Coronavirus says, ‘I am feeling ok’
After Hollywood celebs, Bollywood has also reported its first case and it's non-other than popular singer Kanika Kapoor. The singer has been admitted to Lucknow’s King George Medical University (KGMU) after being tested positive on Friday. As per reports, the 41-yar-old singer hid her travel history from authority and after returning she threw a lavish party for her friends and family at a five-star hotel.
The singer who rose to the fame from song Baby Doll invited politicians, Bureaucrats and socialities apart from her family and friends. Confirming the news the singer took to her Instagram handle and shared her experience she wrote,“For the past 4 days I have had signs of flu, I got myself tested and it came positive for Covid-19. My family and I are in complete quarantine now and following medical advice on how to move forward.”
Further, she went on to advise her followers to practice self-isolation and get tested if one has the signs. “I am feeling ok, like a normal flu and a mild fever, however, we need to be sensible citizens at this time and think of all around us. We can get through this without panic only if we listen to the experts and our local, state and central government directives.”

Meanwhile, Kanika is among the four people who have been tested positive for the COVID-19 in Uttar Pradesh today. Whereas the cases have rise up to 201 with 4 deaths in India.
