Blackbuck Poaching case: Race 3 actor Salman Khan was pretty confident that he won't go the jail; here's what he said
Bollywood's superstar and Race 3 actor Salman Khan, who was convicted by Jhodpur Session Court in 20 years old Blackbuck poaching case for allegedly killing black deer. During an event of an upcoming multi starrer film Race 3 trailer launch, Salman Khan was asked over Blackbuck poaching case, that if he was concerned about the verdict and worried to go to jail forever. The Race 3 actor said, "Did you think I was going to go in forever?"
During the trailer launch on Tuesday, a journalist quizzed Salman if he was concern about the Jodhpur Session Court verdict over Blackbuck poaching case in which he was convicted and it came just after the last schedule of Race 3, a huge budget film. Even the journo didn't complete the question, the anchor interrupted and said no question on the Jodhpur case or on the Karnataka Election will be entertained and asked journo to return the microphone.
Meanwhile, Salman asked the journalist, "Did you think I was going to go in forever?"
As the journalist replied "No", Salman promptly said, "Thank you, because I was not worried."
Salman Khan was accused in 1998 blackbuck poaching case of hunting and killing black deer in Rajasthan during the shoot of multi starrer film, Hum Saath Sath Hain. He was convicted in the case and was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment but was released on bail after he spent two days in the prison.
The trailer launch of Race 3 was attended by other actors of the film like Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem along with director Remo D' Souza and producer Ramesh Turani. Race 3 is slated to release on15 June.
