Bhoot Twitter Review: Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar starrer gets mixed response; Twitterati in splits
Karan Johar’s most anticipated film Bhoot: The Haunted Ship starring Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar hit the big screens today i.e Friday. The film has left Twitter in splits as some are backing the movie and calling it awesome while others are calling it a boring film. The film is based on a true incident that took place in Mumbai where it tells the story of a couple and an abandoned ship lying static on a beach.
According to Twitterati, the film lacks good script, acting and direction. The first half of the film was quite intriguing however that second half got boring. One of the users wrote, “Some chills in 1st half but total drag in 2nd Half. Poor writing, Avg acting and Avg direction killed what could have been a great horror movie. RGV’s Bhoot and Raat are still unbeatable in the horror genre.”
Whereas the another user wrote, “#BhootTheHauntedShip is different and very interesting. Full of horror moments. And great work by #VickyKaushal and brilliant direction. Background music adds more horror in the film. Everyone will love this❤”

Vicky who has given hit movies like Uri and Masaan didn’t come up to the netizens expectation, after promoting the film at such a wide scale the movie failed to mint expected numbers. Also, the film is competing with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan so not the total gross depends on this because Ayushmann’s film is also doing great on box-office.
