Khiladi Kumar has booked the dates of national holidays to release his films and in the last 5 years, we have seen Akshay's films releasing on this patriotic weekend on Independence Day.

1. Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara! (2013) - Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan starrer this film was a sequel to 2010 released film and the film was released on 15th August 2013. The film had a clash with SRK starrer Chennai Express, even after the much hype this film turned out as a disaster at the box office. The film did 61 crores collection in India.
2. Brothers (2015) - Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer action family drama film was an average venture at the box office. The Karan Johar produced film released on 14th August and it collected 82.47 crores.

4. Toilet Ek Prem Katha (2017) - Khiladi Kumar came up with a strong meaningful social drama film Toilet. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer film Toilet Ek Prem Katha did 134.22 crores collection at the box office turned out a blockbuster.
