Ayushmann Khurrana starrer National Award winner Badhaai Ho to get a sequel

Ayushmann Khurrana has been on success run these days and the year 2018 had really been packed with highs and lows for him. One hand when he was going through a rough patch in personal life as his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, on the other hand, his professional life went through a golden phase with having two amazing films AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho.

One hand, AndhaDhun gave him a national award for his performance, while his other film, Badhaai Ho got a national award for wholesome entertainment film of the year. Now an interesting thing is that the makers of Badhaai Ho are planning to bring a sequel to the film and soon they will announce it.

According to the latest buzz, a sequel related to the film is on cards tentatively titled as Badhaai Ho 2 and like previous one this one will also be a wholesome entertainer. It will be based on two young couples in a joint family. While the makers have locked the script for the sequel and currently they are finalizing the cast. The film will go on floors from next year.

However, it is unclear whether the original cast will make a comeback or it will se major changes. Let us tell you that besides a wholesome entertainer of the year, the film also sees a National Award in supporting role for Surekha Sikri's performance. The film is already being remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
