Ayan Mukerji shares Ranbir Kapoor's first look test from Brahmastra as 'Rumi', not 'Shiva'

The filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has joined social media Instagram to share the pictures and visuals of his next directorial venture Brahmastra. Ayan Mukerji has made a trilogy called Brahmastra and its first part is set to release on Christmas, 2019. The film Brahamstra stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles.

Today, the director Ayan Mukerji shared one picture of Ranbir Kapoor from Brahmastra look tests. Ayan Mukerji shared the picture in which Ranbir Kapoor is looking dapper handsome in long hair and light beard on his face. Ayan Mukerji revealed in the initial stage of this film, the leading character was Rumi but later with the new developments, it became Shiva.

Ayan Mukerji wrote on Instagram, "Rumi. First, he was Rumi. Rumi with long hair. This image is from an early look test for the movie. Rumi said, ‘Love is the bridge between you and everything...’, and that feeling is the foundation we started building the protagonist of this movie on... But then, there was new inspiration, newer thoughts... Dragon became Brahmāstra, we gave Ranbir a haircut, and Rumi became... Shiva."

Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji are good friends and they both have collaborated three times in their career. Earlier they both have worked together in Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and both the films were hit at the box office as well. Now Brahmastra is their biggest collaboration ever and it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, and others in the leading roles.
