Amid the coronavirus outbreak, India has lost its two superstars from Bollywood i.e. Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. They both were the most auspicious gems of the film industry and their sudden demise has come as a shocker to everyone.
Irrfan Khan (53) took his last breath on April 29 and his death was one of the biggest shocks for everyone as he had already won the battle against his rare disease. When everyone was pouring their condolences on his sudden demise, another news of despair has surfaced the Internet when Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that Rishi Kapoor has passed away on April 30.
However, it was quite shocking for Big B too as he had worked with both stars i.e. 102 Not Out and Piku.
On the death of his two co-stars, Amitabh Bachchan has shared a post on his social media handle along with a collage picture that showed the two legendary actors (Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor).
Big B captioned the picture, “The death of an elder celebrity vs death of a younger .. the grief of the latter more intense than that of the former .. why ..?The younger more tragic Why the loss of the young seems more tragic than that of the older .. Because you lament the loss of opportunity in the latter .. unrealised possibilities.”
Besides, the megastar Amitabh Bachchan also shared the song from his film 102 Not Out in which he shared the screen with the veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, i.e. “Waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam.”
Previously, Big B also shared a long heartfelt note on Rishi Kapoor when he saw him at his home Deonar Cottage, Chembur.
Rishi Kapoor counted his last breath at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai on April 30 while Irrfan Khan passed away in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on April 29.
