Akshay’s film with Neeraj Pandey has not been shelved

There were reports suggesting that Akshay Kumar’s film Crack which he announced long time ago with Neeraj Pandey has been shelved. During media interaction the actor had mentioned that the film has not been shelved but they are yet to develop a script and then they will talk about it. However there was a buzz that since all was not really well between Neeraj and Akshay the film might not happen. A source says, “Akshay and Neeraj are back together and they will start work on the film next year. Akshay has some back to back film commitments and since the work on the script was not over, they chose to delay it. Now film is likely to start next year and may release in 2019.”

It is said that this film is a remake of popular Hollywood film Falling Down, but  there has not been any confirmation on it from the actor or the filmmaker. Crack was supposed to release on this Independence Day but since it did not go on floor, Akshay chose to release Toilet- Ek Prem Katha on same day which went on to become a big hit. Akshay has a busy year ahead with his film 2.0, releasing in January, followed by Padman, Gold, Battle of Saragrahi and Mogul.
