Akshay Kumar salutes 'Cleaning Soldiers of India'
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who has always been active in talking about serious matters, has now acknowledged the hard work of the sweepers, garbage and sewer cleaners among many others.
The 50-year-old-actor took to Twitter and shared a minute-long video.
The 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' star captioned the video, "A job well done which we usually forget to acknowledge. Serving the country in their own way, my salute to these 'Cleaning Soldiers of India'."
In the video, a line read, "Salute to these dedicated yet unequipped soldiers."
Akshay Kumar will be next seen in 'Padman' and 'Gold'.
'Padman' is a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantha, a man who created revolution in the field of affordable menstrual hygiene.
Helmed by R. Balki, the flick also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor.
While 'Gold' is about India's first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at the 14th Olympic Games in London.
Directed by Reema Kagti, the movie is scheduled to release on will release on Independence Day, 2018.
