After Pati Patni Aur Woh Bhushan Kumar to remake Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra’s 70s superhit film
Bollywood is going through a remake era where makers are rewinding the 70 and 80’s classic films for the new generation. Bhushan Kumar who has given big hits is all set to remake Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan’s cult comedy film. After Pati Patni Aur Woh ace producer has taken the rights of 70’s film Chupke-Chupke starring Sharmila Tagore, Jaya Bachchan among others.
Earlier, Manish Goswami took the rights of the film for his production house long ago, however, now he has given it to Bhushan as he was not able to come up with the suitable script. A source close to them added that when Bhushan approached him he immediately issued a No Objection letter to the Film and Television Producers Guild of India.
The film was considered to be one of the best comedy films in Hindi cinema and Dr Parimal Tripathi’s role which was portrayed by Dharmendra was appreciated immensely. And now to step in his show Bhushan has finalised Rajkummar Rao for it.

When asked Made In China actor after bagging the role, he said that it's a big responsibility to step into Dharmemdra’s shoes as the actor has set the benchmark with his excellent performance. However, so far no one has been auditioned for Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya and Sharmila Tagore’s role, as per SpotBoye.
