Woman drives bus for 10 kms after driver suffers seizure; video goes viral
A video of the woman driving a minibus, carrying women and children has gone viral on social media. As per reports, the driver suffered a seizure in Maharashtra’s Pune.
The woman identified as Yogita Satav (42), was traveling with other women and children after picnicking at an agro-tourism centre in Shirur near Pune. The bus driver showed signs of a seizure and then he stopped the vehicle in the middle of a deserted road. Due to this, the women and children were started panicking and crying. At this time, Satav stepped in to take command over the driver seat and drove the bus to a hospital.
The video of the incident has been shared on Twitter by a user named Ali Shaikh, along with a caption, “Pune woman drives the bus to take the driver to hospital after he suffered a seizure (fit) on their return journey.”

As per media reports, Satav said that she knew how to drive a car therefore, she decided to take charge of the bus. The most important thing at that time is to take the driver to a hospital for treatment. Therefore, she drove the vehicle to a nearby hospital and then admitted the driver there.
The woman who drove the bus for 10 km also dropped the other passengers home. Meanwhile, Satav has been receiving applaud for her courage and presence of mind during such a crucial time.
